A Texas lease termination letter (30-day notice) is a formal written message informing a tenant their at-will month-to-month tenancy is ending. Without this document, the rental agreement continues to renew itself automatically.
Giving at least one month’s notice before the next payment is due helps the landlord find a new tenant to replace the old one. It also gives the tenant adequate time to move their belongings and find a new residence.
Required Notice Period — 30 days.
